When Horowhenua Community Practice relocated to a new facility, our role was to develop and deliver a communications approach that ensured patients, staff, stakeholders and the wider community had clear, consistent information throughout the transition.

We developed a suite of communication materials including brand assets and templates, patient and resident letters, SMS updates, staff scripts, key messaging, FAQs, event invitations, ministerial correspondence, social media content, print advertising, flyers, posters, digital signage and professional photography. We also managed updates across digital platforms and online business listings.

To build awareness and community engagement, we delivered a targeted media and public relations campaign, including radio advertising, print advertising, media releases and media liaison with local and national outlets.

Stakeholder engagement was a key part of the project. We worked alongside Mūaupoko and local iwi representatives to ensure cultural considerations were reflected throughout the relocation. We also supported relationships with neighbouring organisations, patients and community members, while coordinating local suppliers and partners involved in opening activities.

Our team planned and delivered the Dawn Blessing and official opening event, managing invitations, logistics, catering, technical requirements and event delivery.

Following the relocation, we provided strategic recommendations to support ongoing communications and community engagement, including communication objectives, audience messaging, channel optimisation, risk management processes and guidance for ongoing digital information systems. The relocation was successfully delivered, with strong community attendance, positive stakeholder engagement and a smooth transition for patients and staff.
